Dire Indecision

Written February 2006

The tears, they glisten.
I question,
Will you listen?
Conviction,
That you will.
Complication,
Should I spill
My heart to you?

Trouble,
As I have once before.
Refusal,
Shan’t burden you more.
On trial,
For I am wrong.
Denial,
That this will last long,
Though I know it will.
