Summertime

The sunshine early and the moonlight late,
Lends long enough light for all to enjoy.
3 months a glow of warmth does permeate,
Our Earth with weather of such pleasant joy.
A brief hiatus for relaxation,
These vacation days so long awaited.
A quiet, calming sense of elation,
To stressed-out minds finally sedated.
Couples stroll leisurely across the beach,
The summer season ignites the romance.
Praying that the autumn causes no breach,
As they share an intimate moonlit dance.
We wait eagerly for it to arrive,
The summertime when we feel so alive.
