Flow into my ears
Your attention I seek
To calm my fears

Love me today
While I still know
That it’s not okay
To simply let go

I love you dear
Please comprehend
I need you here
My closest friend

Embrace me gently
And just let me cry
You may whisper softly
But please don’t ask why

Trust I will explain
This terror to you
It is meaningless pain
But it scares me too

I would never conceive
It would come to this
How difficult to believe
I could be so remiss

It is hard to continue
And each day to wake
Would I dare bid adieu
Finally forever forsake?
